This is completely relevant.  But 787, 800, 1.6 trillion whatever the amount is....these politicians are stupid insane for wasting taxpayers dollars.

Case 1:  Suppose you spend the money.  Then someone else got it, and
either spent it (GOTO 1) or saved it (GOTO 2).

Case 2:  Suppose you put it in a savings account.  Then the bank
loaned it to somebody, who spent it (GOTO 1).

Case 3: Suppose you bought stock with it.  Then the person you bought
the stock from either spent it (GOTO 1) or saved it (GOTO 2). or lost it (GOTO 1).

You simply can NOT pay off debt by using debt as the currency.
